I believe that affordable, quality healthcare should be accessible for all Americans. As the President of the Senate, I’ll work with the Governor to take on Republicans who have refused to expand Medicaid. Erick will lead the fight to ensure more working Georgians have access to basic healthcare coverage.
Reproductive rights and bodily autonomy are human rights. Period. I know that medical decisions are between Georgians and their doctors, without government interference.
As Lieutenant Governor, I will ensure the delivery of services from every aspect of state government. I am committed to keeping Georgia the number one place to do business, but also the number one place for workers to raise a family.
The past few years have seen unprecedented unemployment with the Covid-19 Pandemic, loss in revenue, and business closures. I know how important it is for the state government to be a strong and committed partner for both businesses and workers when times get tough- and I will be that partner as Lieutenant Governor.
A healthy and prosperous democracy hinges on the right to vote, and our rights are under attack. The GOP’s Big Lie has put our right to vote in jeopardy, and it is more important than ever to elect leaders who are willing to fight for the voters of Georgia, not against them. As the next Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, I’ll fight against voter suppression, and make sure every legal vote is counted.
As the son of a public school teacher and father to a six year old, I know firsthand that quality education is the building blocks to a successful future. Georgian students deserve the best education the state can provide, and our teachers and staff deserve to work with them towards the future with dignity and respect.
I know firsthand that environmental justice is crucial to the health and wellbeing of our families, both now and long-term. Between the fight against Sterigenics’ air pollution in his home community to advocating for national environmental policy, I will always fight for a clean, safe planet.
